Overdyed rugs start life as vintage rugs. They're washed, the pile is sheared down, and then they're dyed a single bold colour – so the original pattern shows through like a ghost under the new shade.
- The colour is intentionally uneven, with lighter and darker areas where the old pattern shows through
- Worn and distressed patches are part of the style
- The shade can look quite different in morning and evening light
- Avoid getting it wet – blot spills with a dry cloth and never rub
- Keep out of strong direct sunlight, which can fade the dye
- Vacuum gently without the rotating brush
- Specialist professional cleaning only
- Free UK delivery on all orders
- White-glove delivery to your room available
- Return within 14 days — no questions asked
