Our Vintage rugs all started out as Persian piled rugs and over the years have been brought to Pakistan where they are re-worked to produce beautiful pieces. They are aged further and sometimes re-coloured. Using warm water and natural herbal products the original dyes can be removed from the rugs and contemporary colours added in the re-dying process. We have both re-dyed Vintage rugs and also the rarer un-dyed Vintage rugs, which have a paler more natural appearance.
